Attorney Stephen Altamuro of Turnersville, NJ; ethical misfit

The state of New Jersey provided Stephen Altamuro with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law. Stevie also obtained a license to practice in Pennsylvania in 1985.

FYI: Widener Law School is ranked as the 162nd best law  school out of 204 ABA accredit law schools throughout the United States.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

  • Lacked candor when dealing with a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Stevie fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website awww.stevealtamuro.com. Apparently, he chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Stevie practices his so-called brand of law at 151 Fries Mill Roadin Turnersville, New Jersey.
