Attorney John Angelucci of Woodbury, NJ; slacker, serial offender

 

The state of New Jersey provided John Scott Angelucci with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

 

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

 

Johny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Convicted for obstructing the administration of law or other governmental function
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Johnny was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, a third-degree crime, following an
  • altercation with Deptford Township police officers
  • At Johhny’s trial, the involved police officer Byrn Wilden testified that when he checked the registration of a van, the system showed that the registration had expired five months earlier, and also showed an
  • outstanding warrant for $26,154 against Johnny

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Johny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to keep client informed as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matter
  • Failed to communicate the basis or rate of the fee in writing
  • Failed to protect a client’s interests on termination of the representation
  • Knowingly disobeying an obligation under the rules of a tribunal

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

Johny’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Engaged in gross neglect of client matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed as to status of legal matter
  • Failed to promptly respond to client information requests
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Johnny failed to inform clients of where and how they could communicate with him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New JerseySupreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with John Scott Angelucci at 867 Cooper Street in Woodbury, New Jersey.
