Attorney Dante Butler of New Orleans, LA; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Dante Butler with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Dante guilty of the following misconduct.

• Knowingly and or intentionally in facilitating the unauthorized practice of law
• Improperly shared legal fees with nonlawyers
• Repeatedly engaged in negligent conduct
• Shared legal fees with people associated with the Knowledge Center Temple in Slidell, which assists prisoners in post-conviction proceedings

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Dante by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2023) Dante practices his so-called brand of law at 4540 Lennox Blvd in New Orleans, Louisiana.
