Attorney Neil Bhatia of Fairfield, CT; convicted batterer

The state of New Jersey presented Neil S. Bhatia with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Washington University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Neil guilty of engaging in the following misconduct

  • Pled guilty in California Superior Court to one count of misdemeanor battery
  • Committed criminal act that reflects adversely on a lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Neil by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), Neil practices his so-called brand of law at 59 Mona Ter in Fairfield, Connecticut.
