Former Judge John Caffese of Stroudsburg, PA; serial criminal

The Judicial Conduct Board of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was sitting a Magisterial District Judge of the Magisterial District Court of Monroe County.

• Charged with unsworn falsification to authorities via a written statement, third degree misdemeanor
• Charged with false swearing in an official proceeding, second degree misdemeanor
• Charged with 4 counts of theft by deception, false impression, third degree felony
• Charged with 4 counts of receiving stolen property, third degree felony
• Charged with obstruction of the administration of law, second degree misdemeanor
• Criminal conduct undermines public confidence in the judiciary and its reputation
• During pendency of said criminal charges, the public’s confidence in the judiciary will continue to erode

Rather than await a ruling that likely would have resulted in him being tossed off the bench, Johnny did what any cowardly Judicial Misfit does, he resigned from the bench.

As we speak (ca. November 2023), it is rumored that Johnny has an application pending as a bathroom attendant at the Adult Outlet Book Store at 204 Cruver Avenue in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
