Attorney Clarice Williams of Southfield, MI; ignoramus, slacker

The state of Michigan presented Clarice Y. Williams with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from Wayne State University School of Law.

The Tri-County County Hearing Panel #58 found Clarice guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to competently represent her client (imbecile)
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct that exposes the legal profession or the courts to obloquy, contempt, censure, or reproach
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Filed pleadings and motions asserting or contesting issues without a basis for doing so that was frivolous
  • Engaged in conduct that is contrary to justice, ethics, honesty, or good morals
  • Committed professional misconduct during her representation of the defendant in a quiet title action

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Michigan Supreme Court punished Clarice by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand and assessed costs of $789.20.

As we speak (ca. October 2023), Nelson practices his so-called brand of law at 895 Beaconsfield Road in Grosse Point Park, Michigan.
