Attorney Prahlad Saran Gupta of India; ethical goblin

The Law Society of Pakistan provided Prahlad Saran Gupta with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Karachi University School of Law.

The Bar Council of India found Prahlad guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Breached trust that his client had trusted upon him
• Engaged in gross professional misconduct
• Misappropriated (stole) client’s money
• After settlement funds deposited with Prahlad, he did not return the amount either to the decree holder nor the judgement debtor and retained the amount for himself

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Council punished Prahlad by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2023), Prahlad is rumored to have applied for a job as a as a waiter at the Royal Elephant Restaurant at the Marriot Hotel in Islamabad, Pakistan.
