Attorney James Jimmerson of Las Vegas NV; ethical elf

The state of California presented James Joseph Jimmerson with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Columbia University School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Made five withdrawals from his client trust account in violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct
• Withdrew funds that were not yet paid by clients on four separate occasions
• Negligently withdrew client funds
• Failed to maintain client funds in a trust account
• Failed to maintain records of client funds
• Engaged in multiple acts of wrongdoing

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law with The Jimmerson Law Firm at 415 South 6^th Street in Las Vegas, Nevada.
