Attorney Laura Alderman of San Antonio, TX; serial convict

The Law State of New York provided Laura Ann Alderman with a law license in 1990 after she graduated from Syracuse University School of Law. Laura also received a license to practice in Texas in 1998.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Laura guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on her fitness as a lawyer
• Engaged in conduct immediately threatening the public interest related to an alcohol-related driving offense for which respondent was sentenced to probation for a period of three years in March 2022
• Convicted in October 2018 of reckless endangerment in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor
• Convicted in December 2018 of an alcohol-related driving offense
• Convicted in October 2021 of an alcohol-related driving offense following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in April 2021

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Laura by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Laura practices her so-called brand of law at 5410 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio, Texas.
