Attorney Stephen Bowman of Syracuse, NY; ethical troll

The Law State of New York provided Stephen Sarsfield Bowman with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Georgetown University of School of Law.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Stevie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct that adversely reflects on his fitness as a lawyer
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in illegal conduct that adversely reflects on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer
• Numerous convictions of alcohol-related driving offenses
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Stevie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Stevie practices his so-called brand of law with Peregrine Development Co. at 217 Montgomery Street in Syracuse, New York.
