The state of California provided Frederick Joseph Amorose with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco.
The State Bar Court found Fred guilty of the following misconduct.
Frederick engaged in the illegal practice of law while his law license was suspended. During the suspension he filed a lawsuit on behalf of his client, regularly provided legal advice and collected attorney fees for his professional services.
Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Freddy was never criminally charged for the unauthorized practice of law which is a felony in California.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Fred by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2012) Fred practices with Rick Amorose Law in Elk Grove, California, which is a suburb of Sacramento.
