Attorney Byron Bergeron of Reno, NV; ethical troll

The state of Nevada presented Byron A. Bergeron with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law.
The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Byron guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Authored repeated, unsolicited, unprofessional emails and disparaging conduct towards the Fee Dispute mediator were intended to, and did, disrupt the Fee Dispute mediation without a legitimate purpose

Various courts spent valuable time addressing matters where you failed to appear when it could have heard other citizens’ matters

Conduct did cause injury to the efficiency of the judiciary

Knowingly failed to perform services for a client and
-
Conduct caused injury or potential injury to a client

Knowingly failed to appear at multiple scheduled court hearings

Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel

Failure to appear at hearings resulted in at least a three-month delay of the proceedings

Disobeyed a court order (Up yours, said Byron!)

Failed to expedite client litigation

Failed to appear at court-scheduled hearing on client’s behalf

Knowingly failed to advance the two client criminal matters
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Byron by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,500.00.
As we speak (ca. August 2023), Byron practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of Byron Bergeron at 3165 Idlewild Drive in Reno, Nevada.
