Attorney Jenifer Shirey of Virginia Beach, VA; ethical dwarf

The state of Virginia presented Jenifer Shirey with a law license in 2005 after she graduated from the University of Richmond School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Jenny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Upon being terminate, Jenny failed to take steps to the extent reasonably practicable to protect a client's interests
• Failed to perform required monthly reconciliations of client ledgers
• Failed to preserve for at least five calendar years client account records
• Failed to promptly pay or deliver to the client or another as requested by such person the funds, securities, or other properties in the possession of the lawyer that such person is entitled to receive
• Failed to maintain receipts and disbursements journals for each client trust account

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Jenny by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Jenny practices her so-called brand of law at 477 Viking Drive in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
