Attorney Byron Thomas of Las Vegas, NV; slacker, loser

The state of Nevada presented Byron E. Thomas with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Byron guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to act fairly with opposing party and counsel
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to file opening appellate brief on client’s behalf
• Failed to file a response to opposing party’s motion to dismiss client appeal
• NevadaSupreme Court dismissed client’s appeal due to failure to file opening appellate brief
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Byron by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and assessed investigative costs of $1,500.00.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Byron practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of Byron Thomas at 3275 South Jones in Las Vegas, Nevada.
