Attorney David Sanders of Las Vegas; ethical troll
The state of Nevada presented David B. Sanders with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Northwestern University School of Law.
The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
-
Failed to serve complaint on defendants, to advance client’s action before the statute of limitations expired
-
Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Davey!)
-
Failed to appear at court hearings form multiple clients
-
Failed to respond to multiple clients’ requests for information
-
Knowingly violated duties owed to his clients
-
Davey’s conduct harmed his clients and the profession
-
Two of davey’s clients’ claims are now precluded because he did not timely pursue them
-
Failed to timely withdraw from client representation when required to so act
-
Misconduct involved multiple offenses
-
Knowingly engaged in conduct that was a violation of a duty owed as a professional and causes injury or potential injury to a client, the public, or the legal system
-
Failed to communicate with three separate clients
-
Failed to pursue mediation on behalf of one client, despite informing the client he was doing
-
Failed to timely send a demand letter on behalf of a client resulting in a waiver of the client’s claims
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2023), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with The Law Office of David B. Sanders at 10845 Griffith Peak Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada.
