Attorney John Costalas of Philadelphia, PA; convicted druggie

The state of Pennsylvania provided John Anthony Costalas. with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Widener University School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Pled guilty to two counts of Knowingly or Intentionally Possessing a Controlled Substance
  • Sentenced to 36 months of probation on drug charge
  • Pled guilty to driving under the influence (DUI) and other motor vehicle offenses
  • Sentenced to 55 days of incarceration
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license effective as of January 6, 2022.

As we speak (ca. July 2023), Johnny will resume his so-called practice of law with the American Disability Alliance at 1650 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in early 2024.
