Former Judge Jose Duvergé of Dominican Republic; ethical goblin

Judge Judge Jose Dionisio Mejia Duvergé was previously employed in the Labor Court’s 2^nd Chamber.

Judge Duvergé was adjudged guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Belonged to a structure to manipulate judicial processes and release criminal suspects
• The structure acted as a corporation, and was organized by judges, employees, former judges and lawyers who made the legal system work from the inside to benefit paying clients

As a direct result of Judge Duvergé’s conduct, he was removed from the bench.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), it is rumored that Jose has applied for a job as a greeter at the Sins4two Strip Club on Nuevo Blvd in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
