Attorney Scott Capriglione of Trenton, NJ; lying slacker

The state of New Jersey presented Scott Joseph Capriglione with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Rutgers University School of Law.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of neglect of client matters
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Offered evidence the lawyer knows to be false
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Made a false statement of material fact or law to a tribunal
  • Failed to expedite client litigation
  • After being terminated Scotty to surrender the client's papers and property
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), Scotty practices his so-called brand of law at 685 Parkway Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey.
