Former Judge Victor Lebron of Dominican Republic; ethical gremlin

Judge Victor Mejia Lebron was previously a member of the National District 1st Appellate Court.

Judge Lebron was adjudged guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in serious misconduct during his tenure on the bench
• Liked to the “rulings for sale” scandal
• Solicited, accepted or received, directly or through other persons, commissions in cash or in kind; or soliciting, accepting or receiving, directly or through intermediaries, bonuses, grants, gifts or rewards, as payment for services inherent to to his judicial position

As a direct result of Judge Lebron’s conduct, he was removed from the bench.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), it is rumored that Victor has applied for a job as a bartender at the Dreams Casino, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
