Attorney James Childress of Riverdale, MD; disgusting pervert
The state of Maryland presented James F. Childress with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Engaged in conduct that is prejudicial to the administration of justice
-
Found guilty of proscribing interstate travel with intent to engage in a sexual act with a minor
-
Conviction reversed on appeal due to technical problems (not as to guilt or innocence)
-
Jimmy used his home computer to communicate with individuals he believed to be young girls via ‘chat rooms’ located on America Online [ (AOL)
-
The girls Jimmy targeted were generally between the ages of thirteen and sixteen years old
-
During some of these conversations, Jimmy would ask whether the person was interested in meeting and having sex
-
To convince the girls to meet him, Jimmy would frequently represent that he was younger than his actual age, stating that he was twenty-four years old rather than his actual age of thirty-two
-
Jimmy was able to persuade five young girls to meet with him
-
These meetings would generally occur in a public place in the Washington D.C. area
-
On one occasion, Jimmy met two girls at the Village Center in Columbia, Maryland
-
Jimmy also met with a thirteen-year-old girl on three separate occasions in the Manassas, Virginia area
-
An undercover FBI Special Agent posing as a 14-year-old girl in an AOL chat room arranged to meeting Jimmy in Bethesda, Maryland
-
In his conversations with the 14-year-old girl, Jimmy described in lurid detail the sexual activity in which he desired to engage with the girl when they met
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the First Department Disciplinary Committee punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. March 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law in Riverdale, Maryland.
