Attorney Donniece Sharee Gooden of Washington DC; lying loser

The District of Columbia Bar presented Donniece Gooden with a law license in 2009 after she graduated from the University of Michigan School of Law.

The DC Bar Counsel found Donniece guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Donniece was retained to represent clients in an arbitration case against a car dealership before the American Arbitration Association in Georgia
  • Disclosed information to opposing counsel and an arbitrator to be both embarrassing and detrimental to the client
  • Engaged in the illegal practice of law in Georgia
  • Failed to specifically list on the firm’s website the jurisdictions she was licensed to practice in
  • Falsely claimed on her website that she was able to practice before courts in which she was not admitted
  • Failed to maintain in in confidence all information gained in the professional relationship with a client, including information which the client has requested to be held inviolate or the disclosure of which would be embarrassing or would likely be detrimental to the client, unless the client gives informed consent
  • Made a false or misleading communication about her services by way of illustration, but not limitation, a communication is false or misleading if it contains a material misrepresentation of fact or law or omits a fact necessary to make the statement considered as a whole not materially misleading

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Donniece by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. August 2023), Donniece practices her so-called brand of law as Senior Executive Director of the Pentacles Legal Group with offices located at 957 Main Street in Stone Mountain, Georgia, and additional offices in Washington DC, and Maryland.
