Attorney E. David Edge of Accord, MA; moronic slacker
The state of Massachusetts presented E. David Edge with a law license in 2016 after he graduated from the Massachusetts School of Law.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.
-
Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
-
Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
-
Failed to provide a writing explaining the scope of the representation or the basis for the fees
-
Failed to deposit the $3,000 in client funds into a trust account, instead using it for personal expenses unrelated to the representation
-
Failed to safeguard client funds
-
Failed to seek client’s lawful objectives
-
Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
-
Davie could not account for what he did with the $3,000
-
Neglected to check the docket or follow up with the clients to confirm the date of a hearing
-
One of the client sisters tried to reach David, but he did not return her call
-
Failed to appear at hearing for the sister clients, resulting in one of the sisters appearing pro se
-
Failed to prepare trust account reconciliation reports every sixty day
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Davie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. November 2022), Davie practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Office of E. David Edge in Accord, Massachusetts.
