Attorney John Francoeur of Fall River, MA; lying slacker

The state of Massachusetts presented John P. Francoeur with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Akron School of Law.

FYI: The University of Akron is ranked as the 147th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in multiple and intentional misrepresentations [lied] to a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to administration of justice
  • Engaged in incompetent behavior in a probate matter (moron)
  • Failed failure to acknowledge the nature and effects of the misconduct
  • Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct
  • Demonstrated lack of candor before the ethics committee (Screw you, said Johnny!)
  • Wasted judicial resources
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in dishonesty, deceit, misrepresentation, or fraud
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest by representing the landlord while another lawyer at the same firm represented the tenant's estate

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Bar Overseers punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of John P. Francoeur at 211 Bedford Street in Fall River, Massachusetts.
