Attorney Neil Halvorson of Birmingham, AL; ethical dwarf

The State of Alabama presented Neil John Halvorson with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from Faulkner University School of Law. Neil also was provided a law license to practice in Wisconsin in 1984.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Neil guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in a prohibited transaction with a client
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law in Illinois when he wasn’t licensed to so act
• Represented two (2) business entities, an individual and a business owned and operated by said individual
• Failed or refused to obtain a waiver of the conflicts mentioned above

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Neil by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand and was assessed investigative costs of $1,000.00.

As we speak (ca. November 2022), Chris practices his so-called brand of law at 210 East Grubbs Street 3221 Starlake Drive in Birmingham, Alabama.
