The state of Ohio presented Myron Parnell Watson with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Howard University School of Law.

The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association found Myron guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Committed 23 ethical violations in his representation of seven personal-injury clients
• Neglected several client matters
• Failed to reasonably communicate with some of the clients
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to prepare closing statements in two contingent-fee cases
• Failed to promptly pay his clients’ medical bills out of their settlement proceeds
• Failed to maintain required client-trust account records
• Failed to maintain proper client-trust account records for each client
• Failed to perform monthly reconciliations of his client trust account
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Myron by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Myron.
