Attorney Jennings Anderson of Greenwood, SC; ethical gremlin

The State of South Carolina presented Jennings B. Anderson with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Jennings guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
• There was a significant that Jennings’ representation of the client was materially limited by lawyer's personal interests
• Failed to obtain written informed consent to proceed with representation despite a concurrent conflict of interest
• Engaged in sexual relations with a vulnerable client when such relations could have a harmful or prejudicial effect upon the client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Jennings by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Jennings and his firm fail to mention the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.nicholsonmeredith.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal this highly relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Jennings practices his so-called brand of law with Nicholson, Meredith, and Anderson LLC at 109 West Court Avenue in Greenwood, South Carolina.
