Attorney Lorenzo Arredondo of Crown Point, IN; ticket fixer

The state of Indiana presented Lorenzo Arredondo with a law license in 1974.

For 30 years (1980 to 2010), Lorenzo was a Lake County Circuit Court judge in Crown Point. During his tenure on the bench the Judicial Qualifications Commission charged Lorenzo with the following misconduct.

Lorenzo thought it was acceptable to accept cash in exchange for favorable resolution of traffic offenses then pending before him. Put simply, Lorenzo was involved in the “Cash and Carry” business.

There was no dispute that Lorenzo was engaged in a for profit scheme of ticket fixing. However, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court refused to take any disciplinary against him because they concluded that the six-year statute of limitations regarding judicial misconduct had passed.

Making matters even worse, these same comedians on the Supreme Court failed to take any action against Lorenzo’s law license. There was no statute of limitations t hat would have barred the Court from permanently voiding his law license.

Because Judicial Misfits in Indiana are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Lorenzo was never criminally charged for ticket fixing.

As we speak (ca. June 2012) Lorenzo the Ticket-Fixer practices law at 2293 North Main Street in Crown Point, Indiana, which is about 45 miles south of Chicago.
