Attorney Elizabeth Anderson of Lake Mary, FL; ethical goblin

The state of Florida provided presented Elizabeth Jayne Anderson with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

The Florida State Bar found Liz guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain her seven law office trust accounts in compliance with Florida Bar rules
  • Failure to comply with trust account rules resulted in shortages in excess of $120,000
  • Failed to properly supervise her office staff
  • Lax oversight led to trust funds being deposited to the wrong accounts
  • Liz’s negligence led to the misuse of client trust funds
  • Failed to advise her client that her license had been suspended

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Liz by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license effective November 7, 2019.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Liz will resume her so-called brand of law at 1630 Bridgewater Drive in Lake Mary, Florida.
