Attorney Shanon Gray of Lake Oswego, ID; ethical gremlin

The State of Oregon presented Shanon Gray with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Shanon guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

FYI: This wasn’t Shanon’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonishment for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

  • Failed to maintain client’s $3,000 upfront fee in a designated trust account
  • Never provided client with any signed agreement regarding agreement for the earned-upon-receipt attorney $3,000 fee
  • Revealed information relating to the representation of his client without authorization
  • Violated his duty owed as a legal professional related to his handling of legal fees
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Shanon by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect Shannon fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.graylawfirms.com. Apparently, Chris decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Shannon practices his so-called brand of law with Gray Law at 644 North State Street in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
