Judge Mary Regencia of the Philippines; slacker, loser

The Philippine Supreme Court provided Mary Jocelyn G. Regencia with a law license in 1994.

The Committee on Bar Discipline found Mary guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Took over two years to render decision after matter was submitted to her for a ruling
  • Rules of Summary Procedure mandated that Mary render a decision within 30 days
  • Failed to proffer any acceptable reason in delaying the disposition of the ejectment case, thus, making her administratively liable for undue delay in rendering a decision

As a direct consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on Philippine Supreme Court punished Leo by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Mary practices her so-called brand of jurisprudence in Dipolog City, Philippines.
