Attorney Walter Sutton of Linthicum, MD; slacker, loser

The state of Maryland presented Walter Timothy Sutton with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Walt guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Repeatedly failed to adequately communicate with his client
• Walt’s firm filed an incomplete asylum application on behalf of a client in an immigration matter
• Failed to contact the client to obtain the information necessary to complete the asylum application
• Failed to file a completed asylum application on behalf of the client prior to the deadline

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Walt by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Walt and his firm fail to mention the above misconduct on their self-serving website at www.Jamescrawfordlaw.com.  Apparently, they chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting their future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Walt practices his so-called brand of law with the Law Offices of James E. Crawford Jr. at 900 Corporate Blvd in Linthicum, Maryland.
