Attorney Lori Vinciguerra of New York City; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Lori Vinciguerra with a law license in 1986 after she graduated from Hofstra University School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Lori guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Failed to pay annual attorney registration fee
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Failed to promptly comply with the Attorney Grievance Committee’s request for a list of her employers since 2002 (Up yours, said Lori!)
• Failed to file attorney registration statements and pay biennial registration fees

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Lori by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license effective September 2020.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Lori will resume her so-called practice of law with Paduano & Weintraub LLP at 1251 Avenue of the Americas in New York, New York in the latter part of 2023.
