Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN): Today’s “Racist” Award Winner

This isn’t the first award presented to Mikey. In the past he has been the subject of one (1) award. For a list of the prior award view the article listed at the end of this article.

Mike succeeded in duping the voters in Indiana into electing him as a member of the United States Senate in November 2018.

In an effort to further his status as a dyed-in-the-wool racist, Mikey decided to spew forth the following crap regarding interracial marriages during a recent (ca. April 2022) Q&A with reporter Dan Carden of The Times of Northwest Indiana.

CARDEN:

“So you would be OK with the Supreme Court leaving the question of interracial marriage to the states?”

MIKEY:

“Yes.”

“I think that’s something ― if you’re not wanting the Supreme Court to weigh in on issues like that, you’re not going to be able to have your cake and eat it too. I think that’s hypocritical.”

FYI: The Supreme Court legalized interracial marriage nationwide in 1967, in the landmark case Loving v. Virginia.

I wonder why Mikey gives his full-throated endorsement to Justice Clarence “This Coke’s for You” Thomas since he’s involved in an interracial marriage to Virginia who is a Caucasian. Maybe Mikey just holds his nose while making comments in support of Justice Thomas.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Mikey continues to be an embarrassment for many of his constituents in Indiana.

Ass-Kisser Award = 1
