Attorney John Snyder III of Matthews, NC; cheating loser

The state of North Carolina presented John Charles Snyder III with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Charged and/or collected a clearly excessive fee (cheater)
  • Never responded to the opposing party’s discovery requests
  • Failed to inform the client when his law license was suspended
  • Abandoned communication with the client for several months
  • Filed incorrect documents on client’s behalf
  • Failed to complete work for which he was retained
  • Failed to notify his client of court appearance dates
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Made a false statement of material fact
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Johnny!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, Grievance Committee punished Johnny with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2022), Johnny practices his so-called brand of law with The John Snyder Law Firm at 317 Matthews Mint Hill Road in Matthews, North Carolina.
