Attorney Joslyn Alex of Breaux Bridge, LA; repeat offender

The state of Louisiana presented Joslyn Renee Alexwith a law license in 1988 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Joslyn guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Joslyn’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Commingled client funds with her personal funds
• Misused client trust funds

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Joslyn by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.  

Joslyn’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Communicated with the opposing counsel's client on multiple occasions during the case despite knowing he was represented by counsel
• Engaged with represented party about ongoing litigation
• Involved in prior communication with represented person about pending case before  Joslyn named him as a defendant in the action

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Joslyn by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.  

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Joslyn practices her so-called brand of law with Alex & Associates at 227 Rees Street in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.
