Attorney Sedric Banks of Monroe, LA; ethical elf

The state of Louisiana presented Sedric E. Banks with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Carol guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to comply with his client’s instructions to dismiss a lawsuit
  • Failed to withdraw as counsel, attempted to recover an unreasonable fee
  • Pursued non-meritorious claims
  • Represented a person materially adverse to a former client in a substantially related matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Sedric by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license

As we speak (ca. May 2022) Sedric practices his so-called brand of law at 1038 North 9th Street in Monroe, Louisiana.
