Attorney Duane Goedken of Muscatine, IA; ethical misfit

The State of Iowa presented Duane J. Goedken with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Iowa School of Law.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Duane guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Duane!)
• Was delinquent in several client probate matters
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Duane by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license

As we speak (ca. March 2022), Duane practices his so-called brand of law with the Goedken Law Office at 319 East 2^nd Street in Muscatine, Iowa.
