Attorney Thomas Sands of Honolulu; lying loser

The state of Hawaii presented Thomas Domenico Sands with a law license in 2012 after he graduated from Loyola University School of Law.  

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Tommy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misrepresented the truth in a bankruptcy court matter
• Falsely declared under penalty of perjury that he had fulfilled requirements to meet and confer with the opposing party
• Refused to explain false declaration despite multiple opportunities to do so
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.  

And lastly, because Attorney Misfits in Hawaii are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Tommy was never criminally prosecuted for committing perjury, a class C felony in Hawaii.
