The state of Tennessee unfortunately presented Michael Lloyd Freeman with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from the Mississippi College School of Law.

The Board of Professional Responsibility found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
• Failed to expedite client litigation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Mikey’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree 

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

Mikey’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to review his client’s file
• Failed to respond to pending motion for summary judgement on client’s behalf
• Failed file an appropriate complaint in a contested divorce action resulting in dismissal of the divorce for failure to prosecute
• Failed to file an executed marital dissolution agreement
• Failed to take appropriate action to confirm the dissolution agreement was filed with the court

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
