Attorney Jonas Armstrong of Santa Fe, NM; ethical dwarf

The state of New Mexico presented Jonas Armstrong with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Columbia University School of Law.

The New Mexico Disciplinary Board found Jonas guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place while he was employed as a city attorney for Albuquerque.

  • Allowed friend to view confidential work product that had not yet been finalized or approved for release by the city
  • Friend took picture of work product and released it to a news reporter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Mexico Supreme Court punished Jonas by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. September 2020), Jonas practices his so-called brand of law with the New Mexico Regulation Commission in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
