Attorney Grace Wilson of San Diego; ethical troll

The state of California provided Grace W. Wilson with a law license in 1993 after she graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law.

The California State Bar found Grace guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Demonstrated indifference toward rectification of or atonement for the consequences of her misconduct
  • Willfully filed a frivolous opposition to a motion for prevailing party attorney’s fees following appeal
  • Filed a frivolous cross-complaint
  • Served deposition subpoenas on several adults and a minor child, against whom there was no litigation pending, which were unauthorized by law
  • A petition for a civil harassment restraining order was filed against Grace following a series of harassing emails from her which accused the complainant of having an affair with her then-husband, stealing her jewelry, and staining her bedding
  • The court issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) prohibiting Grace from having any direct or indirect contact with the complainant
  • Violated TRO by directly contacting the complainant

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Grace by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license and imposed costs of $2,500.00.

As we speak (ca. April 2022), Grace practices her so-called brand of law at 2031 Fort Stockton Drive in San Diego, California.
