The state of Iowa provided Michael Jon Jacobsma with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Engaged in an improper sexual relationship with a client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2021), Mikey practices his brand of law with the Jacobsma Law Firm PC at 116 West Central Avenue NW in Orange City, Iowa.
