Attorney Peter Vitelli of Tuckahoe, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Peter Louis Vitelli with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from St. John’s University School of Law.

The Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patrons for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Department Committee on Professional Standards punished Pee by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
