Attorney Liborius Agwara of Las Vegas; ethical ogre

The state of Nevada presented Liborius I. Agwara with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Cornell University School of Law.

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Liborius guilty of engaging in following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to communicate with his client
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Failed to timely communicate with lienholders
  • Failed failing to pay liens and funds owed to clients in a timely manner
  • Loaned money to a client without advising him to consult with independent counsel
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Liborius!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Liborius by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2021), Liborius practices his brand of law with Agwara & Associates at 1058 East Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas, Nevada.
