Judge John Hannah of Phoenix, AZ; one of the Good Guys

The state of Arizona provided John Hannah with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

In one matter, Judge Hannah presided over a so-called Stop-the-Steal sham election fraud lawsuit wherein Maricopa County was ordered to turn over more than 2 million ballots to the Arizona Senate, which had subpoenaed them to prove fraud, despite two recounts showing the voting machines and counts were accurate.

When the ballots were finally delivered at the Senate Building, they arrived in large trucks with 73 pallet stacked with millions of votes.

Subsequently, Judge Hannah ordered the Arizona Republican Party to pay more than $18,000 to the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office to reimburse the agency for the court costs they incurred to fight the baseless election fraud lawsuits.

In his order v. the Arizona Republican Party, Judge Hannah made the following statements.

  • “The lawsuit challenging the 2020 election procedures was groundless and disingenuous [BS].”
  • “The GOP’s team acted in bad faith when it questioned the process for auditing voting machines and sought to delay certification of election results last November.”

Kudos to Judge Hannah for displaying the courage to sanction a political party that displayed total contempt for the truth in the pursuit of sham claims. It is undisputed that this specious conduct was financially detrimental to the taxpayers of Arizona.

As we speak (ca. August 2021), Judge Hannah continues to sit as a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge in Phoenix, Arizona.
