Attorney Heather Ziemba of Wilmington, NC; lying slacker

The state of North Carolina presented Heather M. Ziemba with a law license in 1996 after she graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Law.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Heather guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to inform her client that she changed law firms
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Failed to perform legal services she undertook to perform
• Because of her neglect and failure to communicate, Heather had to file a second I-601A immigration application, for which she charged her client an additional fee
• In representing her client, it took six years for her client to receive a Lawful Permanent Resident card
• Misconduct harmed her clients
• Failed to act with due diligence
• Repeatedly lied to her client about the status of his immigration application

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Heather by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

And lastly, as one would suspect, Heather fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.ziembaimmigration.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. June 2021), Heather practices her brand of law with the Ziemba Law Firm PLLC at 313 Walnut Street in Wilmington, North Carolina.
