Attorney Jay Kimmons III of Moberly, MO; tax scofflaw

The state of Missouri presented Jay W. Kimmons III with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from St. Louis University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Board found Jay guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

In one matter, the director of revenue reported to the Clerk of Court under section 484.053 of Missouri law that Jay was delinquent on a tax he owed or failed to file his tax returns.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Jay by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
