Attorney Michael Braverman of Bronx, NY; ethical goblin

The state of New York presented Michael Ira Braverman with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the New York School of Law.

FYI: New York Law School is ranked as the 139^th best law school in the country out of 202 ABA accredited schools.

The Appellate Division, First Department Grievance Committee found Mikey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Allowed an unlicensed law school graduate employed by his office to attend various preliminary conferences
• Permitted unlicensed law graduate to sign stipulations as “attorney for plaintiff”

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the First Department Grievance Committee punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license. 

And lastly, as one would suspect, Mikey and his firm fail to disclose the misconduct set forth above on their self-serving website at www.getzandbraverman.com. Apparently, they decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting their future victim pool.
