Attorney Suzanne Terada of Honolulu; bullying slacker

The state of Hawaii presented Suzanne T. Terada with a law license in 1980 after she graduated from the University of Hawaii School of Law.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Suzie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Signed an affidavit that she knew did not represent the truth and knew, or should have known, that it would be submitted to the bankruptcy court
  • Conduct evinced a pattern of misconduct
  • Refused to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in deceptive conduct during disciplinary proceedings (Screw You, said Suzy!)
  • Refused to acknowledge the wrongful nature of her conduct
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • One of her clients was vulnerable
  • Threatened to cause, financial and other injuries to three clients

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary 18-month suspension of her law license.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Suzie fails to disclose the misconduct set forth above on her self-serving website at www.probatelawhawaii.com. Apparently, she decided to conceal said relevant facts from prospective clients to prevent limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Maria practices her brand of law with the Law Office of Suzanne T. Terada at 888 Mililani Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
