Attorney Richard Gifford of Hartford, CT; repeat offender

The state of Connecticut presented Richard W. Gifford with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to return any client phone calls
• Never returned any phone calls he received from his client’s daughter

As one would suspect, this was not Georgie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands and one (1) suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand, his third.

As we speak (ca. May 2021), Dick practices his brand of law at 24 Merrill Street in Hartford, Connecticut.
